Statement of Purpose

AABC’s core values include anti-racism, cultural humility, inclusiveness and community. These values support our vision of culturally congruent birth center care for all families.

Our Affinity Circles meet quarterly over zoom. We’re introducing Affinity Circle Communities to provide continuity for these important conversations. We look forward to learning with you!

Members of the Global Majority
Because historic minoritizing and marginalizing has continually occurred to Black, Brown, Asian, and additional people of color, we respectfully use the collective term the Global Majority in our attempt to affirm and positively represent the people who hold these racial identities.

White Allyship
In this setting, white people learn with and from other white people about becoming actively anti-racist as a life-long process.

LGBTQIA+
This group is for anyone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
