This course is a comprehensive two-day, hands-on workshop incorporating a variety of learning formats, including didactic, hands-on surgical skills and case presentations. Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify relevant anatomy for peripheral nerve surgery
Understand surgical indications and techniques for the anterior and posterior approaches to the brachial plexus
Describe surgical approaches to peripheral nerves of the upper and lower extremities
Select treatment plans for patients based on incorporation of new knowledge of surgical approaches
Attire: Business attire for didactic session of the course and scrubs for the laboratory.
