DeforestACTION is a global collaborative project established by school students to halt the destruction of important rainforests, create a permanent home for orang-utans, and save the planet. In collaboration with the Microsoft Partners in Learning programme, TakingITGlobal and Orangutan Outreach, DeforestACTION enables a collaborative learning community which provides youth with access to global opportunities and aims to empower all young people worldwide to become engaged and excited by working collaboratively across the planet on projects that halt or limit deforestation.
