Updated Lansdowne 2.0 Proposal - Feedback Survey
Lansdowne 2.0 will go to Joint Committee and then Council for key decisions in early November. The City has presented a $419M redevelopment proposal that features two residential towers of 40 and 25 storeys, a new arena/event centre relocated to the Great Lawn/Toboggan Hill area, and new north side stands (with no roof). Construction will take place over a 7-9 year period. Housing unit construction will occur in the final phase, expected to begin in 2030.
For additional details on the proposal see the City's Engage Ottawa website at:

Existing transportation and parking infrastructure for visiting Lansdowne works well. No new transportation solutions are needed.

Ottawa has declared a housing crisis. A $419M redevelopment of City-owned land needs to make a meaningful contribution to affordable housing, and a $3.9M fund proposed in Lansdowne 2.0 is not enough.
