Welcome to the sector validation survey
This survey is part of the Teacher's Pay Equity Claim investigation, which is being undertaken by Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, NZEI Te Riu Roa, PPTA Te Wehengarua, and an ECE steering group representing ECE employers.
Having interviewed kaiako | teachers in many roles, we are now coming back to the teaching sector to confirm what we have found, and to identify if anything is missing.
The responsibilities identified in the interviews have been brought together in the General Areas of Responsibility (GARs) Report and themed. The survey questions mirror the report structure.
Each question asks you to confirm the themed areas of responsibility or add responsibilities that are missing and not recorded elsewhere in the report.
