A Community Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) is designed to help the Mooroopna community prepare for disasters like floods and fires. By working together, communities can find out what local resources there are, what skills people have, and where skills and knowledge can be improved. This way, the community of Mooroopna can better support each other before, during, and after a disaster.

Creating a Community Emergency Management Plan brings communities together, making it easier for everyone to stay safe and recover quicker after tough times.

Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about emergency planning—we’ll have facilitators to guide you every step of the way. Join us to help make your community stronger and more prepared!
