We asked customers for photos of their dogs doing what they do best — digging! We narrowed the competition down to five finalists, but choosing one winner is a "ruff" task. So, we’d like your help!

Please vote below for the dog you think should star in our new safe digging campaign. You can vote through July 26. We’ll announce the winner — our new safe digging “ambassadog” — on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Take a look at the photos below and — further down on the page — a bit of information about each dog. Then select the photo of your favorite finalist. After that, there is one question about digging safety to answer. Then click “submit” at the very bottom to send us your vote!

Question Title

* 1. Pick your favorite dog to be our new safe digging ambassadog:

Apple
Apple is a long coat Dalmatian who is about to turn 2 years old. Apart from being a passionate digger, she can always "spot" a new adventure – whether it’s hiking trails, splashing in a creek, or hunting for the very best stick. She's also a super speedy runner. She loves zooming around with her doggie pals. When it's time to wind down, she likes sitting on the couch and eating string cheese.

Ivy

Ivy is a Newfoundland and 2 years old. She started digging as soon as she moved into a home with a yard. Now once she gets started she can't stop. Ivy loves being a working dog. In addition to digging, she’s training this summer in water rescue. When not working, Ivy can get naughty. She steals shoes and scrunchies, tears up squishy toys, and wrestles with her brother, Boom. When she’s outside and gets a little hot, Ivy dunks her whole face in her water bucket.

Jolene
Jolene is a 10-year-old pit bull. She’s a champion digger, and does it all three legs. When not digging, she’s busy insisting on having dinner two hours early, sleeping at her gramma's feet while gramma works on puzzles, or sunbathing. Jolene’s family says she is the happiest dog on earth.

Mushroom
Mushroom is a Rottweiler who was rescued from a shelter here in Chicago. His love of digging is rooted in a passion for unearthing buried treasures. Mushroom dreams of tunnels leading to endless belly rubs, but a nicely buried stick is plenty satisfying as well. He’s also found lost toys, a time capsule left by a previous home owner, and even helped a grumpy bulldog find a good digging spot. When not digging, Mushroom enjoys zooming around the dog park, going to the beach, chasing frisbees and tennis balls, and barking at the mail carrier.

Oblio
Oblio is a 2-year-old rescue pup who is a pit bull mix. He is deaf, so he is extra reliant on smell when he digs. It gives him an extra edge and helps him stay focused on safety. Separate from digging, Oblio likes going on long walks and sniffing every scent there is along the way. He also loves making friends with other dogs. Oblio’s family calls him a 50-pound bowling ball of happy energy!
