About the Cultural Pathways Project

We are creating a program for Native youth and their families that uses cultural arts to empower youth to deal with life's stressors.

We've have worked with Culture Bearers to adapt wellness techniques and tools to be relevant to the cultural values and traditions of our local Native youth and their families.

Moving forward, our next step is to integrate these culturally adapted techniques and tools into our Healing Through Cultural Arts (HTCA) program. For this new version of HTCA, which we call THRIVE, we hope to recruit a group of up to 10 youth and their caregivers. The youth and their caregivers will attend a series of workshops to learn cultural arts AND improve their mental wellbeing.

We would like you to be a part of this. We believe that together, we can build resilience, foster healing, and strengthen our community.

Please fill out this form to help us understand if you would be a good match for THRIVE.

If you have any questions please reach out to us at ssmith@cimcc.org. Thank you!
