CELF Civic Science Scholarship Application: Winter/Spring 2021 |
Civic Science Inquiry to Action Program
CELF Civic Science Inquiry to Action incorporates Next-Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and inquiry into project-based learning. The program provides interdisciplinary training for middle & high school teachers with an emphasis on STEM, Social Studies and Health. Civic Science projects can be adapted to a variety of instructional settings (in person, online or hybrid). They engage students (grade 5-12) as environmental health researchers to collect and analyze air quality data, to identify sources of air pollution, and to develop prevention and remediation plans for their communities.
During the 2020-2021 school year, CELF will be offering the Civic Science Inquiry to Action program in various configurations to educators across the country.
