1. Kia Ora and Welcome to our Tui Ridge Park Survey.  We appreciate your feedback. Thank you so much.

Tui Ridge Park continues to be a place Seventh-day Adventists can call home. It has deep historical and generational ties. Tui Ridge is a ministry that impacts young people and their families helping them experience God’s presence and love. It is also home for our bi-annual Big Camp.

However, in the midst of the global pandemic, the effects of Covid-19 have resulted in massive booking cancellations with an estimated loss of income from August 2021-May 2022 of just over $1m. With the dramatic decrease in cash flow, Tui Ridge is sitting with a net operating deficit which will continue to increase unless we can operate fully. To operate annually the park costs approximately $1. 7 million. The vast majority of this cost is from outside hirers. While efforts are being made to cut costs as much as possible, the challenge we face as the Tui Ridge Park Board, is how to make Tui Ridge sustainable while not losing sight of its valued purposes and heritage. It is our every intention to continue operating Tui Ridge Park.

We have prepared this survey to ensure the church is aware of the current financial difficulties Tui Ridge is facing. We would really appreciate your thoughts, support and valued feedback as we navigate very difficult times. Thank you.

Thinking about Tui Ridge Park and the engagement you/your family have had with the Park over the years and your/your families connection to the Park.
