The Greater Palm Springs Tourism Foundation offers scholarships for the Leadership Institute Training certificate offered by College of the Desert’s PaCE program. This 6-course training program prepares individuals interested in advancing their career by teaching them valuable leadership skills, including employee engagement, leadership essentials, authentic leadership, emotional intelligence, values & ethics, and challenges of leadership. The scholarship is intended for hospitality employees, new to supervisory positions or who have a strong potential for career advancement with the tools gained from this type of training. Additional Information:

Each course training is a half day, in-person commitment of approx. 4 hours. Employers are responsible for paying any applicable wages, benefits or expenses while the employee is in training. Scholarship recipient needs to begin first course within 90 days of scholarship award notice. The 6 courses must be completed within one-year of start date.

The Greater Palm Springs Tourism Foundation scholarship will cover the cost of registration for training program (values at approx. $894).
