  • The Casa Grande Community Resilience Coalition is a is a community-based coalition addressing substance misuse in Casa Grande, Arizona, and the surrounding Pinal County. It brings together organizations and individuals to assess local trends and create a comprehensive. collaborative strategic plan to address local issues. All sectors of
    the community are welcome to participate in the coalition and its meetings. Members may represent their workplace or group or may attend as individuals.

    The primary responsibility of any member is to support the coalition’s vision and mission. Members shall also represent the interests of the community and service sector for the coalition, and actively participate in and contribute to the coalition’s activities, events, and strategic planning. The Vision of the CGCRC is to build a community where youth and adults feel safe, valued and connected. The Mission of the CGCRC: We mobilize the community to strengthen resilience and prevent substance misuse through collaborative effort.

    Through collaboration with key community stakeholders, the Alliance works to address substance misuse, dependence, addiction and abuse and their root causes through policy development, prevention, and education.

    Members who attend at least 2 coalition meetings per year will be considered a member in good standing and be eligible to vote. Members are encouraged to participate in one of the coalition’s work groups, promote the work of the coalition, share talents and ideas, offer in-kind contributions, and help recruit new members.
