Regulations on Lead in Drinking Water - Public and Nonpublic Schools |
Annotated Code of Maryland - COMAR 26.16.07
The Maryland Secretary of the Environment adopted new regulations under a new chapter, COMAR 26.16.07 Lead in Drinking Water - Public and Nonpublic Schools. The purpose of this action is to comply with Ch. 386 (H.B. 270), Acts of 2017, by requiring public and nonpublic schools to test drinking water outlets for lead contamination and establishing an ongoing program to minimize the risk of exposure to lead in the school's drinking water.
