With an aim to raise the voices and profile of female water professionals, this speakers directory has been set up to help World Water Week session convenors connect with exceptional female water experts for speaking engagements.SIWI's ambition for the World Water Week, and for a water wise world, is one that values the experiences, insights and perspectives of women and men equally. At World Water Week, we endeavour to create a conference that has equal professional representation by both women and men - as participants and as speakers. By participating in the #WaterWomen speakers directory you are ensuring:- You are available for World Water Week (23- 27 August 2021).- You have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study or have at least 2 years of experience working with the subject matter.- You are well versed in the subject matter and feel comfortable speaking at length about the issues.- You are able to effectively communicate in English, both written and orally.- You are 18 year of age by 30 August 2021. Registrants must confirm their understanding that the details provided via the submission form will be made publicly available through the #WaterWomen Professionals Speaker Directory.
