This Feedback Form is about Mobility Master Plan Area of Focus #4: Manage Road Capacity Strategically. Please consider watching the short video below before completing the survey.
1.
Please tell us which goals you feel are most important for the London community (you may select up to 3)
The need for new road capacity has been minimized by accommodating travel demand and improving efficiency primarily with operational and multi-modal improvements.
Example: Consider roundabouts to minimize delays and increase safety
Example: Consider lane reconfigurations to increase people-moving capacity without adding new general traffic lanes
Example: Implement measures to mitigate long-term lane closures due to construction
Curbside space is managed in a manner that suits the context of each street.
Example: Develop strategies to accommodate a range of curbside demands (such as parking/loading, e-commerce delivery services, placemaking purposes)
Goods movement is efficient, modernized and balanced with the needs of other road users.
Example: Designate strategic goods movement routes
Example: Encourage 'micro hubs' that help businesses deliver goods to final destinations more efficiently with less kilometers travelled and more frequent stops
Example: Support increase use of micro-mobility (such as e-cargo bikes) for deliveries
