1.Community Champion Award (who is making a difference in Northumberland?)

Dan Bulger - Dan is one of Canada’s longest-serving YMCA volunteers and in 2024 was awarded the YMCA Fellowship of Honour Officer Award, recognizing his more than 46 years of service to YMCA Northumberland.

Cobourg Lions Club - the club puts proceeds from its events throughout the year back into our community. The members volunteer their time to big events in town and also host great live music shows. They also do fun events for the family and kids.

Sarah Marshall - Sarah continues to raise awareness about organ transplant in our community.

Ryan Huffman: Ryan is sharing his story to help others in our community. He is helping local youth play sport and people who are on their journey to recovery.

Adam Pearson - organizes river clean ups of garbage after the fish run, serves a free Thanksgiving dinner to those in need, on town council for Port Hope, volunteers at many events and causes. Genuinely cares about making Northumberland a great place to live.
