Presidential Search and Screening Advisory Committee

Wright State University is conducting a search for its seventh president to succeed Dr. David R. Hopkins when he retires in June 2017. WSU’s Presidential Search and Screening Advisory Committee is interested in your opinions about the ideal candidate to lead WSU into our future!
Your responses to this survey will help the WSU search committee, assisted by Academic Search, our search partner, draft a position profile for president of Wright State University. While the choice of president is ultimately the decision of the WSU Board of Trustees, the Board has asked the search committee to listen closely to the university community regarding presidential qualifications. Therefore your voice is important and your response critical – the search committee hopes to gather input from as wide an audience as possible to inform this search. Once approved by the university Board of Trustees, the presidential profile will help us identify top candidates.
The survey consisting of 11 questions will take only a few minutes of your time. Your answers will be anonymous but final results will be made public in the aggregate.
