The City of Manteca is preparing to construct a new splash pad at Woodward Park as part of the master plan. The splash pad will be designed to have recirculating, treated water for public safety and reduced water use. Your input on the design of the splash pad will help staff to build the components that meet the needs of the community. Below, please see the descriptions of the two concepts for selection.

Please review the two conceptual designs, and the first survey question will ask you to click on the one you prefer. You can also provide comments with additional feedback you would like to share with the City and design team.

The survey will be open through Wednesday, October 16th.

Thank you for your feedback!

Question Title

BELOW: Concept 1 - THE STREAM

The concept revolves around water movement. Combining components like an upland water spring, traversing beneath water tunnels, jumping over big boulders, lying down along a pebble beach, and stomping over squishy pads to activate ground sprays to create a whimsical blend of above ground spraying water along a meandering and colorful stream arrangement.

BELOW: Concept 2 - THE WATER GARDEN

The concept revolves around combining colorful flora and fauna elements within the waterplay opportunities. Almost like a secret garden, the water garden sits in the center of the space, buffered by shade trees and pollinator gardens combining playful ground and overhead sprays with water plants and animals represented over a vibrant paving.
