Request free one-year subscriptions of American Scientist magazine for high schools
Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society seeks to identify approximately 60 more high schools by January 14, to give them a free, one-year subscription to its magazine, American Scientist.
High schools qualify if they exist in states that have faced laws or proposals that would negatively influence how science is taught in the classroom:
Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

If you would like to submit a list of schools (more than five), please email it to Heather Thorstensen, Sigma Xi manager of communications, at hthorstensen@sigmaxi.org as an Excel file. Include the mailing address of each school and the contact person at each school with his or her job title, email address, and phone number.
