E-portfolio Survey to Students
Description of survey and eportfolios
The Faculty of Graduate Studies and AUGSA invites you to participate in a short 6-question online survey to get your feedback on the use of eportfolios in AU graduate education.
An eportfolio is a virtual resource allowing you to store and showcase your graduate work across courses during your educational journey at AU, and it stays with you when you graduate. Eportfolios thereby facilitate the integration of graduate accomplishments and milestones into a cohesive whole throughout programs and in such a way as to be firmly grounded in the learner rather than administratively imposed. Instead of looking back on graduate school as a bunch of courses ending with a capstone or thesis, eportfolios allow you to curate your educational experiences into a unified and presentable form that makes your learning visible and can be showcased to potential employers. In doing so, eportfolios facilitate discovering connections between courses and across semesters as well as to life outside the university, connections that might not otherwise be seen. Eportfolios thus have the potential to enable and advance deep learning at the personal level as well as career goals at the professional level.
Your participation is voluntary. We thank you in advance for assisting us in assessing the use and level of interest in eportfolios at AU.
