Western Nevada College is in the process of updating their 2001 Campus Master Plan and they are seeking feedback from the public to guide the future development of the campus. The Campus Master Plan Update will in turn help to inform WNC's new Strategic Plan that is currently underway.
The Campus Master Plan Update will address the following:
1.) Existing Conditions
(What is the current state of the campus? What changes have been made to the campus since the last Master Plan?)
2.) Planning Opportunities
(What future potential projects should be considered? Where should these projects be located and what will they include?)
3.) Program Summary & Space Needs
(Based on evolving trends, what type of programs should WNC provide? What infrastructure is needed to provide them?)
4.) A New Campus Form
(How can the physical characteristics and layout of the campus be modified to improve user experience?)
5.) Phasing
(How will WNC approach future development of the campus? What projects have high priority/are most attainable?)
6.) Design Guidelines
(What will the overall aesthetic of the campus be?)
