WESLEY MISSION QUEENSLAND
FUNDAMENTAL TO OUR INDUSTRY
1. The existing Agreement used as the basis for the new Agreement; and
2. The Agreement to be read wholly in conjunction with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010; and
3. Terms of the Agreement to cover all employees, operate for a period of three years with renegotiation of Agreement six months prior to nominal expiry date and our Union to be bound by the Agreement; and
4. Fair Pay providing a decent living standard; a pay rise percentage above the National Minimum Wage increase, increases to Allowances and indexation of Allowances; and
5. Continuation of Grievance and Dispute Settlement Process ensuring transparency and the right of the employee to be represented by the union on all employment matters; and
6. Inclusion of the Consultation clause that meet the requirements of the Fair Work Commission to ensure compliance; and
7. Improvement of the Employment Security and Introduction of Change clauses that allow for consultation with employees prior to the final decision being made; and
8. Inclusion of Reclassification Rights that allow employees to request the reclassification of their position to a higher level and paid from the date the request is made; and
9. Inclusion of the Fair Work Model Clause - Flexible Work Arrangement to ensure compliance; and
10. Inclusion of 20 paid days Domestic and Family Violence Leave; and
11. Inclusion of Natural Disaster Leave that provides for standalone clause on each instance of Natural Disaster; and
12. Inclusion of paid Pandemic/ Isolation Leave, separate to any other form of leave; and
13. Inclusion of a Mental Health and Wellbeing clause; and
14. Inclusion of Workplace Rights including Respectful Behaviour and commitment to zero tolerance for workplace bullying and harassment; and
15. Continuation of Delegates rights within the workplace including paid Trade Union leave to attend training, conferences, lobbying and campaigning; and
