He Ira Wāhine| Law School Women's Mentoring Programme 2025 Mentee Application |
This form is an application into the 2025 He Ira Wāhine | Women's Mentoring Programme. Please take time to answer each question, because part of the selection is based on the quality of your answers. Answer honestly, do not answer how you think we want you to!
By completing this form it is assumed that you will complete the 2025 Women's Mentoring Programme if selected. Please note, this programme is only open to female students studying a law degree/conjoint, going into their penultimate or final year of study in March 2025. It is not open to postgraduate/masters students, or students here on exchange. Mentees on the programme will also need to be studying in both Semester 1 and 2 of 2025.

If you are going on exchange in 2025, you are not eligible to apply. If you have previously been a mentee on the programme in either Law or Business, you are not able to apply again.
If you are enrolled in a conjoint degree with Business, you are able to apply for both the Business and Law Women's Mentoring Programmes, but you can only be accepted into one of the programmes. This will be based on the best mentor match for you.
We recommend participants meet up with their mentors once a month, outside of the on-campus events, with a minimum of four face-to-face meetings throughout the year. The programme runs during the academic year, from March to October.
You must be willing to commit to the programme and be able to attend evening events. There are approximately eight events for mentees throughout the year, including a briefing session, a programme launch event with all participants in March, special guest speaker, panel, and networking events, and a final closing celebration.
