WarmLine Family Resource Center is currently seeking candidates to serve on the Board of Directors from the following 6 counties we serve: Alpine, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo. WarmLine is doing an effort to see inclusion and equity, for this reason, preference is weighted towards candidates representing underserved populations, as well as reflecting the diversity of families served.
Board members are expected
  • to provide at least 2-4 hours a month in preparing for Board meetings and participating in Board and committee meetings. Board meetings are held virtually, therefore travel is not required.
  • It is also expected that members adhere to the policies set forth in the WamLine By-Laws and Board Operations Manual.
  • Attend Orientation
Orientation includes interview(s), an introduction to current WarmLine staff and programs, and a written or digital overview of bylaws and the Board Operations Manual, designed to give a robust overview of the organization.
