The former Royal High School on Calton Hill is a Category A listed building of stunning architecture which has sat unused for over 50 years. The charity, the Royal High School Preservation Trust has exciting plans to redevelop the building into the National Centre for Music. It will be open to locals and visitors, so that music in all its forms can be enjoyed, learnt and created.

The unused grounds surrounding the building will be transformed into beautiful gardens and become a haven for wildlife.

To make sure our plans are what people need and want we have created this short survey. We will also be talking to local community groups and organisations. It will take about 10 minutes fill in this survey so we can hear what interests you, how you might use the building and help shape this really exciting project for Edinburgh.

We will also ask for some personal information about you. This will include your name and email address if you’d like to have an opportunity to enter into a prize draw to win one of two £50 Tesco vouchers. The draw will take place on Monday 4th November and you will be notified by email if you have won.
