West of Ireland Recruitment Survey 2021
The Western Development Commission is getting ready to launch our new talent platform. The platform will be available for counties across the AEC region – Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway, Kerry, Clare and Limerick and has three main objectives.
Jobseekers. The first is to provide a one stop shop for jobseekers to find career opportunities in the west of Ireland. It will offer the jobseeker an opportunity to stay updated on relevant positions based on their skills / preferences and connect with employers / agencies in the West.
Stakeholders. The second is to provide stakeholders with data on the qualifications and experience of the people who live in the west or are considering a move here. This function will better equip agencies seeking to provide useful skills data to employers / potential FDI investors.
Employers. Finally the platform will become a space where employers in the region can create company profiles and promote job opportunities, helping to attract key talent.
How the new platform may benefit your company.
The platform will go live in February 2021 with no cost incurred for the job seeker, stakeholder or employer.
We will be carrying out on-going marketing to support the platform and highlight all roles available.
We are planning to host a number of online events focused on talent attraction for the region in the coming months. By signing up for the platform your company will be offered a place at the events first.
