Thank you for taking part in the Ottawa Film Office’s (OFO) consultation as we work to prepare our renewed Strategic Plan.

n.b. The Ottawa Film office is an independent non-profit funded by the City of Ottawa.

The Ottawa Film Office’s mission is to attract live-action, animation, film, television production and co-production to the National Capital Region. Its goals are centered around fostering the growth and development of the local industry, and acting as the lead voice for the region within the screen-based sector.
The vision is to increase Ottawa’s prominence as a full-service production destination and to reflect the work of our film, television, and animation creators on screens around the world.

The strategic direction of the Ottawa Film Office will be guided by the results of this consultation. As the lead voice for Ottawa’s screen-based production sector, the OFO’s priorities need to reflect and operate in conjunction with the needs of the local sector.

This survey is organized around four key themes: Current Priorities; Status of the Ottawa Film Sector; Serving Our Community; and Growth & Governance. We are relying on your input to guide the creation of a renewed Strategic Plan that will set out the Ottawa Film Office’s path for the next three years.
