World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2023 (WAAW 2023)

The Quadripartite (FAO, UNEP, WHO and WOAH) would like to request your participation in a short survey to understand your communication priorities for WAAW 2023. Your input is invaluable to help shape this year’s global WAAW campaign and wider Antimicrobial  Resistance (AMR) communication assets and resources.

Our 2023 campaign should help drive the world’s attention to AMR, explain why we all need to work together across sectors and ensure much larger investments to drive results.

Key upcoming milestones in 2024 include a high-level meeting on AMR at the UN General Assembly and the Fourth Global High-Level Ministerial Conference on AMR.

Since 2020, WAAW seeks to raise awareness of all antimicrobials including antibiotics, antifungals, antiparasitics and antivirals.
