Bozeman Bike Share
This study is being administered on behalf of the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University to investigate the interest Bozeman residents and visitors have in bicycle sharing. Bicycle sharing programs usually consist of a group of bikes designed for short trips for public use, which can be checked out from multiple bike parking stations placed at heavily trafficked locations throughout a community. Bicycles can be picked up at one station and returned at another, making one-way trips more convenient. Even if the user already owns a bike, bicycle shares can be advantageous when they may not have a bicycle with them, but would like to make a short trip. Questions are intended to estimate the level of interest and readiness the Bozeman community has for a bike sharing program as an addition to the public transportation system.
