1. Introduction to the second Public Consultation for GSTC Tour Operator Criteria revision 2024.

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council is in the process of revising the GSTC Industry Criteria v. 3.0, which includes two sets of criteria: the Hotel Criteria and the Tour Operator Criteria. The aim of the second public consultation is to gather comments and feedback on the GSTC Tour Operator Criteria draft v.3.1.

The first public consultation was held in July to August 2024. This was to hear from the public and stakeholders how much they felt that a separation of the Hotel Criteria and Tour Operator Criteria was needed. The draft has since been revised to separate both criteria, but especially indicators.

In this survey you will be invited to:
  • give specific comments and feedback on each criterion or indicator;
  • suggest to add (and/or delete) a criterion or indicator that you feel is missing;
Please use a criterion/indicator identifier when making your comments. (Example D2.4.7)
