Perceived credibilty

* 1. Thank you for expressing your willingness to participate in this survey-based study conducted using a questionnaire.

The questionnaire is addressed to native speakers of English, aged 18–40. During the study, we will ask you to evaluate how credible the presented statements appear to you, using a scale from 1 (very improbable – too improbable to be true) to 7 (very probable – so probable that they could be true).

At the end, we will ask you to provide some basic demographic information.

Participation in the study is voluntary. By beginning the questionnaire, you are giving informed consent to participate in the study. However, you may withdraw from participation at any time, without providing a reason and without facing any consequences.

Participation in the study is anonymous, and your responses are confidential. Your data will not be shared in any way that could allow for your identification and will be used solely for scientific purposes.

Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes.

Instructions for assessing the credibility of statements.

Please evaluate the credibility of the provided statements on a scale from 1 to 7.

1 indicates a statement that is too improbable to reflect reality.
7 indicates a statement that is highly probable and reflects reality.

Your evaluations should be based on your first impression of the statement. Try to respond fairly quickly and instinctively. Once you begin the study, please aim to complete all tasks in one sitting without interrupting the evaluation of statements.
