ARTIST RESPITE PROGRAM
Artists who have been affected by the ongoing impact of natural disaster events in the Northern Rivers are invited to apply for respite at the Grafton Regional Gallery. An artist stipend, accommodation and studio space is available for up to one week between January and June 2025. This is an opportunity to be immersed in the Clarence Valley landscape and community, to connect with the Grafton Regional Gallery and Arts Northern Rivers teams, and to be supported in creative practice.
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
Two artists will be selected for the Artist Respite Program, which includes:
- $800 stipend (+ gst, if applicable)
- up to one week’s accommodation on site at the Gallery (1 x queen bed with kitchenette)
- 24-hour studio access (will need to notify if accessing after 9pm and before 6am)
- 1:1 session with Grafton Regional Gallery Curator or Director
- 1:1 session with Arts Northern Rivers Project Manager
- opportunities to connect with the Grafton and Clarence Valley community
