The Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (OCADSV), in collaboration with Oregon Health Authority, is releasing the Prevention Through Liberation (PTL) 2024-2025 Grant Program. Up to $25,000 will be awarded to 1-3 culturally specific, Tribal, or culturally responsive community-based sexual violence prevention programs. This funding is designed to support capacity building focused on anti-oppression work as primary prevention of sexual violence among marginalized communities. The PTL project emphasizes work by and for communities targeted by oppression.

Funding is designed to grow capacity to build and further develop primary prevention practices in communities impacted by systems of oppression. We are excited to welcome applications from organizations that: are led by-and-for the communities that the program aims to engage; strive to dismantle systems of oppression and promote liberation; strive to address root causes of violence; practice alternatives to the dominant ‘one size fits all’ approach to prevention; engage in creative approaches to violence prevention; and strengthen community relationships.
