2023-2024 CCEA REVIEW OF CHIROPRACTIC ACCREDITATION AND COMPETENCY STANDARDS |
1. Welcome to this CCEA Survey
The Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia Ltd (CCEA) is reviewing the two sets of standards relevant to the safe and professional practice of chiropractors and the Council’s accreditation functions.
CCEA is currently the independent body responsible for ensuring competency and higher education standards in chiropractic in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.
The Standards being reviewed are the:
· Accreditation Standards for Chiropractic Programs
· Competency Standards for Chiropractors.
· Accreditation Standards for Chiropractic Programs
· Competency Standards for Chiropractors.
These two key sets of Standards are complementary and strongly inter-linked. They are the mainstay of chiropractic practice and education in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, as well as for the Asian programs adopting these standards.
