Your experiences of NHS Pelvic Health Services in Dorset

To make sure that the care we offer meets your needs, we would like to hear about your experiences and your suggestions for improvement. The results of this survey will be used by your local service to understand what we are doing right and how we can improve.
The purpose of this anonymous survey is to improve care that you receive during and after your pregnancy. We have received national funding to develop our pelvic health service. We would like to hear about your experiences during your pregnancy and post natal period. This might include care given by Midwives, Pelvic Health Physiotherapists or other health care providers and also NHS sources of information such as Maternity Matters Dorset.

Pelvic health problems may include leaking of urine (pee) and/or stool (poo), prolapse (bulge in the vagina), pelvic girdle pain (pain in the pelvic area and/or back) and abdominal rectus diastasis (tummy muscle separation). Sometimes there are pelvic health symptoms related to tears that happened at birth or an infection in this area.

This survey has been developed with service users. The information will be collected and seen by NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Perinatal Pelvic Health team in Dorset. It will also be used to check your experiences against locally set Key Performance Indicators. Information will only be shared with others in a way that would not identify you. You do not have to complete this survey if you do not want to, however we really value your feedback.
