CRISPR-BASED DIAGNOSTICS SURVEY |
Purpose of the Survey
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey.
Traditional nucleic acid-based diagnostics have undoubtedly revolutionized disease detection, yet they come with significant challenges such as the need for specialized laboratories, expensive reagents, and trained personnel.
Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)-based diagnostics offer a promising alternative, potentially overcoming these limitations. With their ability to target specific genetic sequences, they hold great promise for detecting a wide range of diseases, particularly infectious and genetic conditions. Based on your experience and knowledge, your feedback will help to understand awareness, challenges, and limitations surrounding CRISPR-based diagnostics.
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
No individual responses will be presented, and the privacy of individual respondents will be respected.
Deadline for completion is 16 December 2024.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Dr. Swarup A. V. Shah (dr_swarup.shah@hindujahospital.com), member of the IFCC Emerging Technologies Division Executive Committee.
Thank you for your time and your valuable feedback.
