Welcome to LHMP Virtual Engagement Session

This Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) Virtual Engagement Session intends to provide information to residents of Marin County on potential vulnerability to natural disasters, strategies to cope with those hazards, and a framework to prioritize mitigation goals and strategies. This process takes place over 3 Virtual Engagement Sessions, this being the first which will focus on an introduction to Local Hazard Mitigation Plans and a vulnerability review. Session 2 will focus on developing mitigation goals and strategies. Session 3 focuses on prioritizing mitigation goals and strategies.

Session 1 – Introduction to LHMPs and Vulnerability Review

Session 2 – Develop Mitigation Goals and a List of Strategies

Session 3 – Prioritizing Goals & Strategies

After participating in these virtual engagement sessions, a community workshop in your area will be held in order to further review the Marin County Multi-jurisdictional LHMP and to provide community members an opportunity to meet their local planners and share their opinions on community level planning.
