Welcome to our consultation

The Mersey Forest is Cheshire and Merseyside’s Community Forest, established in the early 1990s.

For the past 30 years we have been working with communities, landowners and partners to increase tree cover, improve woodland management, and encourage people to get involved. In this time, almost 10 million trees have been established across the area, or 4 trees for every person living here. This work is vital for people, nature, and climate.

We are refreshing our Mersey Forest Plan. This is the long-term and strategic guide to the work of our team and partners. We would love to hear your thoughts on this to help us to make it even better. We can then continue to work together to deliver over the next 25 years and beyond.

You can answer all the questions if you want to, but you don't have to. Please spend the time responding to what is most important for you.
