Title IX Sexual Harassment Formal Complaint |
1. Overview
Title IX is a law intended to protect people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance. Under this law, Andrews University defines Sexual Harassment as sexual assault, quid pro quo harassment, hostile environment harassment, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual exploitation.
ONLY the individual who experienced unwanted behavior (the Complainant) may use this form to file a formal complaint. Filing a formal complaint will initiate the Title IX grievance process related to the reported allegations, which includes notifying the respondent and a review by the Title IX Coordinator.
If you are a Complainant but would like to discuss available options or Andrews University policies before filing a formal complaint, please use the Report form instead.
If you are reporting on behalf of another person, you also should use the Report form instead.
