Inventory of American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian schools/ programs serving children

Indigenous Visioning, LLC has been contracted by Casey Family Programs, in partnership with the Center for Indian Country Development, to conduct a national inventory of American Indian,  Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian Language Programs that serve children.  This inventory will be used to create an interactive online map of language revitalization programs/schools for children in Indian Country. The goal of this project is to highlight the many Native language initiatives underway, funding streams they access, and their successes and challenges. 

Information for this inventory will be gathered through this online survey that will identify characteristics of language and language revitalization programs for children and their locations.

In the survey, questions denoted by an asterisk (*) will be included in the publicly available online map Questions without an asterisk (*), and any response in the “Comment” sections, will remain confidential and will not be included in the online map.
