Huntington Fire Prevention Parade

Please use this form to register for participation in the Huntington Fire Prevention Parade.

There is a change to the parade this year.
All participants that are not an organized school organization or youth sports team are required to have a fire prevention theme.
This can be accomplished by something as simple as a posterboard, but we do encourage creativity.

The National Fire Prevention Week theme this year is "Smoke Alarm: Make them WORK for you!"

As in years past:
Parade line up will begin at 12th Street on 4th Avenue in downtown Huntington. Line-up will continue east on 4th Avenue towards Hal Greer Blvd.

The parade route will begin at 12th Street and commence west on 4th Avenue disbursing at 8th Street.

You will receive a confirmation email within one week of filling our this registration form.

6.The participating organization listed on the attached registration form does hereby Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Huntington Fire Department and the City of Huntington, their officers and members, of any unforeseen liabilities, losses, claims and/or damages during, or arising out of, their involvement in the Huntington Fire Prevention Parade. The participating organization further certifies that the drivers of any of their vehicles are legally licensed drivers and all vehicles used in the parade have current liability insurance as required by State Law.**

Participants agree to abide by the instructions and rules given by the Huntington Fire Department, event personnel and all written rules given in the application.
