Kronos Quartet 50 for the Future Masterclasses!
Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 and Saturday, April 15, 2023, 2pm Eastern on Zoom
ACTIVE PARTICIPANT SIGN-UP SHEET

Sign up your ensemble as an active participant for the Kronos Quartet's online masterclasses: 2pm to 5pm Eastern (with a 1pm soundcheck) on Saturday, November 12, 2022 or Saturday, April 15, 2023

NOTE: Only one ensemble member should fill out this survey on behalf of the group. ACMP will choose 3 ensembles to participate in each class. Please let us know your availability (or not) on both dates, but each group will only play in one class.

Repertoire: Choose a piece from the Kronos Quartet's free online library "50 for the Future." If your group is selected but another group already chose that piece, we will ask you to choose another.

Please consult this article on the ACMP website for a shortlist of recommended pieces that are not too difficult.

The class is open to serious (and adventurous!) adult amateur ensembles who want to rehearse in advance of the master class and be prepared to work with the Kronos Quartet on the finer details of ensemble playing and interpretation of some of the new works written for Kronos as part of their 50 for the Future project. The class will take place on Zoom - and ensembles will be expected to play together in the same room, ideally with some decent sound equipment (if possible) for optimum sound quality and listener enjoyment.
