Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a Transit Access Research Assistant with the U-SEAT project in partnership with the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), Uplift Northwest, and University of Notre Dame's Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO). Uplift Northwest is a Seattle nonprofit that connects low-income workers with temporary job opportunities and jobs trainings. U-SEAT will work with Uplift Northwest's clientele to implement a randomized controlled trial and assess the impact of fully subsidized transit on jobs outcomes.

Your role will be enrolling study participants on-site at Uplift Northwest in Downtown Seattle. Tabling will occur on Thursdays between 9:00am-2:00pm. We offer volunteer research assistants flexible scheduling and anticipate around 10 hours of on-site engagement per month. Prior to tabling, research assistants will be provided with research ethics, de-escalation, and field trainings.

Volunteers are provided a $50 stipend per month, with an anticipated commitment of 10 hours per month!

Please answer the questions below and our research assistant organizer will contact you with further details. We are excited to connect with you!
