UNIDO-AfDB survey on the impact of COVID-19 on manufacturing firms in South Africa |
Dear Madam/Sir,
We would like to invite you to participate in a survey to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industrial sector of South Africa.
The survey is promoted by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB). The results of this assessment are expected to inform and guide the policy response of the government towards the design and implementation of economic recovery and resilience measures for the industrial sector.
Participation is voluntary. Should you agree to take part, you will be asked to answer a few questions about the effects of COVID-19 on your firm. This will take no more than 20 minutes.
The information and opinions you provide will be kept confidential. Neither your name nor the name of your business will be used in any document based on this survey. We intend to share with you a brief report of the aggregate results as soon as they become available.
For further information on this survey, please contact UNIDO Research & Industrial Policy Advice Division (RPAsurveys@unido.org).
