BACKGROUND

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the United Nations' global development network that works in 170 countries and territories, helping to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and exclusion, accelerate structural transformation for sustainable development, and build resilience to crises and shocks. UNDP works in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to accelerate the achievement of the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina has supported the country towards sustainable, peaceful, and inclusive development since 1996. Through the Country Programme Document for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021-2025, UNDP has committed to work with authorities, businesses, civil society, communities, and academia and support sustainable and inclusive growth, people-centered governance, and social cohesion in the country, contributing to improved quality of life and opportunities for all.

PURPOSE OF THE SURVEY

Reaching halfway through the 2021-2025 UNDP strategy for Bosnia and Herzegovina is a good opportunity to invite all stakeholders to provide feedback on their experiences with UNDP and reflect on the effects, scale, speed, and relevance of UNDP-supported development work. Among other tools that will be deployed – such as participatory workshops and data analysis, UNDP is launching this survey to gain the views, voices, and feedback from various stakeholders. Moving forward, UNDP will consider the survey findings as a key resource to inform and, if needed, strategically adjust its future work in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
