Introduction

This is the application form for the U.Dance south east regional selection for One Dance UK’s U.Dance National Festival 2025.

Event Name: Let’s Dance Crawley featuring the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2025.
Date: Tuesday 11 March 2025, afternoon and evening.
Location: The Hawth, Hawth Avenue, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 6YZ

Let’s Dance Crawley featuring the U.Dance South East Regional Platform is a partnership event between DanceHub CIC, South East Dance and One Dance UK.

This is the application form for:

U.Dance South East Regional platform 2025
Apply to be the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2025, which will be part of DanceHub’s Let’s Dance Crawley event, a live platform event taking place in Crawley, West Sussex on Tuesday 11 March 2025. The selected groups will attend technical rehearsals & workshops in the afternoon and then present their dance piece live on stage in the evening.

Groups who are selected for the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2025 will be considered for shortlisting for One Dance UK’s U.Dance National Festival, scheduled to be held on 25-27 July 2025 in partnership with Sadler’s Wells, at their fabulous new venue, Sadler’s Wells East in London’s Olympic Park.

To apply you must complete and submit the following by the deadline:
· All sections of this online application form
· The online equality and diversity monitoring form
· The URL link to your dance film

This application form will take approximately 32 minutes to complete.
Please allow time to complete the full application form as it is not possible to save the form and return later. To avoid losing any work, you may wish to save your responses in a separate document first, then copy and paste it over to the online application form when you are ready to submit.

Groups will be notified of the panel’s decision regarding selection for the U.Dance South East Regional Platform by Tuesday 3 December 2024.

Forms and administration

· Selected groups will be required to confirm details about the piece, plus submit documentation/forms to DanceHub CIC.

· All selected groups from out-of-school settings MUST obtain a performance licence for each child of compulsory school age.

· All selected school groups from full-time education settings with students of compulsory school age will be required to provide details for the Body Of Persons Approval (BOPA).

Support and Access
We welcome applications from groups working with young dancers who identify as D/disabled or D/deaf.

There is a small access support fund available for groups with dancers who identify as D/disabled or D/deaf selected for Let’s Dance Crawley featuring the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2025.
