• In MOLDed: A Memoir of Loss & Resilience, I shared my family’s toxic mold fight to raise awareness about toxic mold. I wanted to show people how quickly contamination can happen, how difficult it is to remediate, and the severity of mold-related symptoms.
  • I hope to share your toxic mold story as well. One family’s story can be ignored, but one hundred stories--or more--may get attention. I want people to know that toxic mold impacts those from small towns and cities, on the coast, and in the desert.
  • The survey is quick, confidential, and voluntary. It takes about 20 minutes to complete. I'll use fictitious names for quotes or when describing mold experiences to preserve your privacy. You can provide a fictitious name or skip questions if necessary, but please answer as accurately as possible.
  • I plan to publish results in essays, my website blog, social media, and a follow-up book. As a toxic mold survivor, I hope that providing more information about toxic mold’s devastating impact on our homes and health will lead to more research, understanding, and support for toxic mold victims.
  • Want to share more of your story? Provide your email at the survey conclusion to schedule a 15-minute follow-up Zoom meeting.
  • Want to help? Share the survey link with others who’ve experienced toxic mold. More stories will strengthen our impact. (I plan to keep the survey open until February 1, 2025.)
  • For more information: Check my website for additional background and updates. Or contact me at cmmilberger@gmail.com.
  • Thank you for sharing your story. I hope our joint effort will lead to more attention and research on this important issue.
Sincerely,
Carol Milberger, Ph.D.
