Dear Thrall ISD School Parents/Guardians,

Right At School, a tuition-based before and after-school enrichment provider, has approached us to offer their “Right Club” program on-site at our elementary and middle school next year (2017-18). This would provide a safe learning environment and enriching programs for children after school (as well as before school if there's a need). The "Right Club" program would be scheduled every day from the time school ends until 6 pm or later. After a snack and fun fitness activities, students complete their homework and then have an afternoon of meaningful enrichment activities through sports, games, arts and crafts and much more. The after-school program would cost families $60 per week per child (or less, if fewer days than five were selected.).  There is also a sibling discount of 10% off the second child and a 20% discount for families that qualify for free and reduced meals.

Right At School also offers one-hour specialty classes (such as chess, foreign language, arts, music, coding etc.) for parents who may want additional enrichment activities for their children.

After seeing presentations about this program, our Superintendent and Principals believe that this may be a valuable opportunity for our students and parents. This survey will help us gauge parents’ interest in this after school program at our elementary/middle school. As Thrall ISD strives to meet the diverse needs of our community, we would appreciate your participation in this survey.

These are ten to twelve week classes offered by community partners in such areas as chess, martial arts, music, foreign languages, etc. Costs for these specialty classes tend to be ~$100 - $150 per ten-week session. Might you be interested in these sorts of programs?
