Send good quality pictures of your art pieces (high resolution of 300 dpi) using the www.wetransfer.com -service to artofbasware@basware.com between 4.2.-17.6.2019 but no later than 17.6.2019 by 15:00 EET.

The file name must contain: Last name, first name, name of art piece, size in cm and method used.
Example: "Doe_Jane_100x70_cm_Flowers_in_a_vase_oil_on_canvas.jpg"

Late or faulty entries are not accepted in the competition.

We will contact all contestant in mid-July. Those pieces that continue to the final will be displayed in The Art of Basware exhibit in the Clarion Helsinki Jätkäsaari hotel during 14.10.-14.11.2019.

We will announce the winner at Clarion 14.10.2019 during the opening of the exhibit, early evening. This is a sales exhibition so please have a realistic price for your work. The artist is responsible for transporting, including any possible cost of transport, their art to and from the exhibit. Also remember to make the attachments to mount your work, if it is required Basware does not have insurance coverage for damage or theft for the exhibited items and the pieces are displayed under the sole responsibility of the artist. Please make sure you have adequate insurance, or you’re prepared to take the risk of loss or damage of your work.

First qualification is done based solely on the photos thus the judges can evaluate only pictures of good quality. Please make sure that your pictures fill the requirements as poor quality photos will be eliminated from the competition. Crop the picture/s so that only the art piece and the possible framing is visible.
