Temora Railway Precinct Master Plan - Community Consultation |
Submit Your Design Ideas
Temora Shire Residents are invited to contribute towards the design of a master plan for the Temora Railway Precinct.
The master plan is a grand vision for the circa 15-ha site that runs between Polaris, Britannia, Camp, and Copeland Streets. It will support the future development of a range of infrastructure and landscaping, including walking and cycling paths, public art, heritage interpretation, picnic, recreation and event spaces, green areas, as well as additional caravan parking. This vibrant new space hopes to complement, as well as benefit from, the proposed transformation of the former Temora Flour Mill into a microbrewery and function venue.
Interested community members are invited to provide input to the design of various spaces within the precinct. We’re looking to hear from people of all ages and interests to design a space that meets the community’s needs whilst creating an iconic visitor attraction for the Riverina.
At this early stage in the design process, we're seeking input on design elements, activities, and items of historical significance on the precinct. The precinct has been divided into zones to help generate ideas and to focus the discussion.
You have the choice to:
1. Provide input to the overall Precinct by answering question 1 only, OR
2. Provide input to one or more specific zones by answering questions 2 to 15.
The landscape architects will use community feedback to inform their design for the precinct. The draft designs will go on public exhibition later this year where community members will have another opportunity to provide feedback.
